Witajće k nam – Welcome!
Based in the Upper Lusatia, Germany, our ensemble has been bringing local traditions to life on stage since 1964.
In our stage performances, we weave historical customs into dynamic choreographies. We are particularly proud of our youth and junior group, whose passion proves that folklore is fresh, energetic, and built for future generations.
Our passion knows no borders. Over the decades, we have traveled the world as ambassadors of Sorbian culture, performing at international festivals across Europe, as well as in North and South America, Asia, and beyond — including the USA, Argentina, India, Mexico, South Korea, Turkey, Canada, and China.
Whether at a local gathering or a major international folklore festival, we love sharing our heritage, energy, and music with audiences worldwide!
Who are the Sorbs?
The Sorbs are an officially recognized West Slavic minority living in eastern Germany for over 1,500 years.
Against all odds, we have preserved our own unique Slavic language, vibrant costumes, and rich customs. For us, Sorbian heritage is not a museum piece—it is a living, breathing identity that we proudly carry into the modern world with every dance step and song.
