Bringing Slavic Heritage, Vibrant Energy, and Authentic Live Music to Stages Worldwide.
Did you know that in the heart of Germany a small Slavic minority called the Sorbs has preserved its unique cultural heritage, language, and costoms for centuries? We bring this vibrant tradition to life throught high-energy stage performances, handmade costumes, and authentic live music.
While our full-length stage productions regularly tour regionally, we love taking our traditions beyond borders to international folklore festivals, cultural exchange events, and guest performances across Europe and the world! We offer a wide range of flexible performance formats, tailored to international festival programmes, main stage performances, street parades and cultural receptions.
Traditional Folk Dance performance
A dynamic selection of our most beautiful dances, including the playful Shoemaker’s Dance (Reja šewca) and our exclusive showcase, the Schmerlitzer Tanz, where traditional skirts twirl through the air thanks to fast-paced choreography! Key highlights include storytelling through movement, colourful traditional costumes, and dynamic energy.
Duration: Flexible programmes from 15 to 45 minutes.
Live Musical Accompaniment and Singing
All our performances are accompanied by our own live musicians playing traditional Sorbian folk music on authentic instruments. A special highlight of our musical group is the playing of the traditional sorbian bagpipe (dudelsak) – a recognized element of intangible cultural heritage that frequently accompanies our dances.
Heartwarming melodies, lively rhythms, and traditional Sorbian folk songs create an unforgettable live experience.
